Known as the 'library' of dance moves, world renowed dancer/choreographer Tony Kundu has more than 16 years of dance experience in many styles including House, Hip-Hop, Locking Popping and Breaking. Having plied most of his trade in New York, Tony's credits include Faith Evans, Ja Rule, Anastacia, KRS One and Rah Digga. A well respected instructor, Tony's teaching has taken him internationally to countries such as France, Spain, Italy as well as all around the US. Tony currently resides in India choreographing commercials, videos and tours, most recently opening for Mobb Deep's tour of India.
Initially inspired by music videos and Soul Train, Dan Genalo first performed at the age of 11. Although self-taught, has crafted his style from a wide variety of influences, especially 90s Hip-Hop, House Dance, Locking, Boogaloo, African and Latin social dances, Capoeira Angola and motown/rock'n'roll dances. Dan has trained and worked with dance groups Guilty By Association (GBA), Sour Patch Urban Dance and HouseBroken. He also performed with Current TV, DJ Senbad, Mr. V and Louie Vega. In 2005, Dan won the B-boy Hodown House Dance title with dance partner "House". He will be attending the upcoming Juste Debout event in France
House Dancing: The Jack movements and innuendo meshed well with the isolations and angular vertexes of Tone. Often confused with "popping", the dance grants the practitioner the ability to use their entire body to speak to the subtle variations in the music and keeps the dance alive by changing it from song to song while maintaining the integrity of the original styles.
