Hey gang,

As you know there is streetdance movie currently being filmed by VertigoFilms.

I am not sold on the "3D" aspect but the dance footage from Flawless, former UK Hip Hop Dance Crew Championships, Adult Crew Champions, looks good. Check this exclusive behind the scenes footage!

The World Hip Hop Championships Las Vegas Nevada

July 31, Las Vegas, Nevada - Unlike many competitions that purport to be a World Championship, this one is has the dealing of the real deal. Dancers from Columbia to Pretoria South Africa come together ina gigantic Street Dance LoveFest!

It's hard not to be swept up in the energy of it all. The atmosphere in the US is unlike anywhere else in the world. Somehow, inspite of the intense level of competition, get get the feeling that everyone here is part of one massive family. The feeling of mutual support and friendship is electric and exciting.

Even the championship hotel dramatically loosens it's collar and become hip hop central. The championship hotel is the 5 star Loews lake Resort Hotel featuring Nevada's biggest manmade lake. A massive swimming pool first class service and ovr 1200 dancers from all over the world.

Tension…

I am nervous. This year I know little about the international competitiors and our own crew's offerings.

Yesterday I had a peek at DNA's routine. Sharp... It contains all the right elements for success, great movement both horizontally and vertically. Choreographic surprises... It could get them into the finals depending on countries like japan, new Zealand and canada. Each if these countries come very strong either in ol' skool, tricks or commercial styles.

I have a really good feeling about Toyboxx. I believe their success is dependant on the other American crews and whether thier own UK flavour sets them apart.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about the other crews choreo and I haven't been able to reach them since I've been here.

The biggest weapon the UK brings is flavour and music. At least for now, the more the UK can do to stay "UK" the better. We'll see soon enough.
